Knickers.

My life is usually so dull that events such as cleaning the bathroom and buying a new freezer appear on here as high points of glittering excitement. So how frustrating is it that when something genuinely cool happens I'm sworn to secrecy?

Knickers indeed.

Today I am starting the new book. Honestly. But first I have to tidy my desk and empty the bin in my office, which contains 382 chocolate bar wrappers-- legacy of the last one. Shudder to think how many calories lie between here and the next happy ever after...

AH! Secrets--you rotten tease, India!

Talking of genuine excitement--it's December 1st, which means a whole load of new glistening goodies on the M&B website today. Olivier is on his way to me right now...Woo hoo!

Lots of love,

Rach.

I know-- ridiculously annoying. I'm so sorry.

Gosh, is Olivier really out already? That sounds like a fab excuse to post some more pictures of lovely James Franco. Will get to work looking for some straight away (Can always start new book tomorrow...)

You are such a tease, India! Oh, well, I'll just have to be patient I suppose. Darn it!

Today is the first day back at school for the kiddos. After a week of vacation, Princess is thrilled to be going back. Little Man says he's not excited, but Mommy knows the truth. ;-)

It snowed this morning. Just a little bit, but still, any snow in Mississippi is cause for celebration! The perfect start for December!

Have a lovely day!

Hi India
I've just read the first chapter of your new book on M&B's site.
How am I going to wait until Amazon can deliver Olivier to me at the end of December??
He is reading as totally delicious!
Oh well, good things are best savoured slowly I suppose.

Trenda, it snowed here a bit today too! Only a little dusting of icing sugar (v festive) but it's bitterly cold and it feels like there's more to come.

Karen, luckily I have a few copies to hand. I must think of a competition or something to find homes for some!

Hmm--doesn't that sound intriguing! I look forward to hearing about it. Meanwhile I'm in the same place you are--trying to start a new book!

Kate, you only just finished the last one! (I, however, have been mooning around and achieving precisely nothing for almost a month...) Congratulations on getting your ms submitted and hope you're going to take some time out with baby Anna. xx
