Orlando Winterton has left the building

He's given me no end of heart-ache, but blimey, I'm going to miss him.
(Ha. Won't be saying that when I get the revisions back....)

Hurrah for you India! How long until we can get our hands on him do you think? Raphael di Lazaro was delish-I want more!

P.s Bet my fridge is a lot worse than yours and I'm not even going to THINK about cleaning it until the kids go back to school!

Any old excuse to post a picture of James d'Arcy...

Rachel I'm SO THRILLED to hear that you liked Raphael. Orlando is made of similar stuff, but is more beset by darkness and demons, so I hope you like him too. All being well the book will be out in a year or so-- IF my editor likes it! (yikes!) I'm also glad you said that about the fridge. It was all the encouragement I needed to put it off for another month! (I'll blame you if we all get food poisoning!)

Eva-- thank you for all your help, as always. A break is definitely in order, although the next book is brewing, and it's VERY different from previous ones...

Abby/Daisy-- let the wait commence! It's actually a well known fact that you need to roughly double your calorific intake when waiting on an editor's verdict. And, Michelle, when you're facing a new deadline too.... (the honey is delicious, by the way. Halfway down the second jar already and I'm starting to ration it!!) Well done on getting your revisions in and good luck with the new book. Now I've finished mine I can read again-- so I'm looking forward to starting RVM!!
